PROJECTS
Orogun Media operates in the space between "someone should do this" and actually doing it. We curate events that sell out. We build links that span borders. Africa Meets Brasil at the Sugar Club wasn't a "cultural exchange"—it was a sold-out room that proved Afrobeat-Brazilian fusion could pack an Irish venue. Meeting John Boyega at a Black Google Network event wasn't networking theater—it was a signal that the work we're doing registers beyond Dublin's bubble. Taking Yankari through Italy with Living Things, Elikya, Irial Jones & Selu wasn't a tour—it was proof of concept that good music travels if you want it to. These aren't case studies—they're receipts. Ireland's multicultural music community doesn't need more cheerleaders. It needs infrastructure, bookings, and people who can close deals. That's what you'll find here.
Living Things & Friends Tour
Italy, September 2025
In September, Yankari packed up and headed to Northern Italy for the "Living Things" tour—four nights across Torino that felt like a homecoming in a city we'd never been to before. Working with Andrea Passenger and local venues like Banco, Spazio Il Passel, Imbarchino, and Jigeenyi, we brought Afrobeat to audiences who were hungry for it. The lineup expanded beyond Yankari to include Selu, Elikya, Irial Jones, and DJ Frawl—turning each night into a proper showcase of what Dublin's multicultural scene is really about. The hand-drawn posters with that skull-and-leaves design captured the raw energy perfectly. What started as a leap of faith—can we actually tour this?—ended with Italian promoters asking when we're coming back. Torino proved that the music travels, that the mission resonates beyond Ireland, and that Orogun's artists can hold their own on any stage in Europe.

Africa Meets Brasil
